First step was to pull the subfloor up and see what we were dealing with. I opted to do the more intact portion first. The drain and supply lines were going to be moved regardless so I figured I'd see what's up under this section first.

I was surprised to see the floors were supported by trusses and not floor joists. Lots of room to work for me!
