Sick of the drains in the brow ditch behind the boulders at the back edge of the pool clogging up and allowing mud to get into the pool when it rained, we decided we'd add some retaining walls with French drains behind them.

This is after an entire day of breaking out the old concrete for the brow ditch and starting to carve out the hill to make room for the wall. 60lb jackhammer and sandstone do not make for a fun day. Good thing someone else was doing the labor! :)
