I didn't catch any pics of the trimmer install, but I ended up trimming off a short section of the bottom plate flush with the original jack studs, then screwed down a couple small pieces of pressure treated 2x6 to extend the bottom plate, then installed my trimmers to make the horizontal RO dim 72-1/2". It was getting late and the wind was starting to blow so I boarded everything up for the night. Door is due to be delivered in the morning, but all I have left to do is trim the sheer panel to the new opening size and add some blocks between the trimmers and jack studs to get them flat.
