The attic access door wasn't sitting flush with the frame and after checking the frame to make sure it was flat, I discovered the 'door' had a bit of a twist. No problem, I just ripped some spruce and MDF scrap and made stiffeners which I'll glue and nail to the 'door' then clamp it all to my bench to get it flat.
