Apologies for the crappy picture, but lighting in the attic is pretty poor. Getting to this thing to remove it is going to be a pain as on top of the truss to the left is an OSB sheer panel. Now I see why the roof vent isn't connected. This vent hose must have been stretched like a guitar string to reach the vent above. I'll be replacing it with a proper hose.
