The insert fits pretty nice. Little boo-boo in the lower right corner caused by lack of concentration on my part. The bit grabbed a bit and made the trimmer base plate lose contact with the surface for a sec. It won't affect the insert in any way so I'm not going to worry about it. I had some spare red oak so I trimmed the edge of the table to minimize the damage any future impacts might have on the MDF.
