The old vanity was literally rotten on the bottom. You can see the front edge by my hammer is literally crumbling. It was all particle board and had seem some water damage over the past 50-ish years. I didn't bother 'un-plumbing' the sinks as they were being replaced. I just broke them up and left the faucets connected for now. Plumbing will be moved a bit to center the drains and supplies in the new vanity sink bases.
