I was thinking about doing baseboard at the bottom of the island to cover the gap between the island and the flooring, but thought quarter-round would look cleaner. Only problem is, the gap at the far right was larger than my quarter-round stock. No worries, I'll rip some 1/4" stock and tack it along the bottom and then pin the quarter-round in place. Once it's painted out, nobody will notice.
