Often when I work on projects like this, I think of how I'm going to handle issues while I'm waiting to drift off to sleep. Last night I decided I would add an outlet to either side of the new door and that would make routing the wire from the old outlet over the header a piece of cake. Gotta open up the wall to see what I'm working with.
