This wall only carries the load of the bathroom above it, but only to the double stud to the right of the copper pipe, and that load is spread to the wall by the floor joists above so I was able to remove the stud that used to be just to the left of the 3" ABS drain pipe and cut out a bit of the top plate in that area so I can cut the drain apart and 'rotate' it so it's flat within the wall.
