I got a little rambunctious and didn't take pics of the process, but got an "after" pic.

The bar didn't have much texture to it and I had a half sack of the island stucco left, so I grabbed a green float and a drywall mud pan and mixed up a small, soupy batch of the island stucco and applied a very thin layer, making sure I got a lot of the aggregate in the float and on the bar faces. It also covered up all the spider-web cracks and a couple small cracks that developed on the island.

Turned out pretty decent and will make a nice base for when I spray everything out.
