My initial plan was to clad the walls in Flagstone, then slate tile, but I discovered the lid of the grill would almost touch the Hardibacker when it was opened. Fortunately, I remembered I had this piece of stainless buried in the garage. Looks like it'll fit nicely behind the grill and give me enough clearance to avoid moving the grill forward - which would require rebuilding the entire cabinet. It should also keep the smoke and grease off the back wall a bit and be a lot easier to clean.
