I went to do the final sand on the mud here, but noticed I had quite a few low spots along the edges and the short area at the 'back' of the opening wasn't thick enough over the tape so I had to sling a little more mud. Assuming this sands out ok, I'll get the ceiling primed and the access panel sorted in the morning.
