Nailed the spacing. The outer lights are exactly 51 inches on center from the centerline lights and the spacing off the finished edge of the counters is exactly 16 inches.
Even though the island top is huge, the narrowest walkway is 43 inches wide and there is almost 46" between the left edge of the island and the stairs. The previous layout only had 34 inches between the island and the stairs and 36 inch walkways - and it was a MUCH smaller island!
