This is where we discovered an error in the toe kicks. The space between the toe kicks where the black level is? That's supposed to be where the cabinet backs are so we had to cut off the side and patch it back together. Because of the toe kick issue, the nipple I'd put on the gas line for the cooktop wasn't long enough to reach through the back of the cabinet so I'd need to add a longer unit. Unfortunately, I didn't have a longer nipple on hand, so I borrowed a pipe threader from a neighbor and made a custom nipple.
