There's a small sub-panel in the pantry and I never knew what it was for until I started this project. It turns out it's for some power strips the previous owner was using for coffee pots, a toaster, a toaster oven and other small electric appliances.

This is what I discovered when I was on my knees cutting out he J-box hole for the new outlet.
