The plan includes framing in between these beams and adding drywall with a 2-inch reveal of the beams. This will allow for LED can lights and getting rid of the track lighting. (Have I mentioned it's EVERYWHERE!!??) Since the new lights will be located in different locations, I pulled new wires for them.
