Another hot one so, again, I waited until late afternoon to start. I broke up the dirt with the demo hammer and a 3" chisel bit, then shoveled it out. I started on the right side and went 'back' about 3' before shoveling it all out. More stupidity revealed itself with the septic cleanout piping.
