When I first walked through the project with the painter, I told him there was no need to do super clean cut in on the base or trim, and to go ahead and roll the color CLEANLY on to the the top edges of the trim as I tape and caulk these before painting and rolling the color over ensures a nice clean edge when unmasked. What I found was large blobs and drips all over the baseboard and trim while I was masking. This will all have to be cut, scraped and sanded off before I can paint all the trim.
