I didn't want to notch the baseboard to clear these outlets, so I thought I'd try 'monuments' and butt the base up to them. I had some 5.5" jamb stock that I cut up and made a quick mock up. Here, I'm scribing a line to use as a guide when I sand the cut edge to match the radius on the sides.
