I never understood why the previous builder had these outlets here and thought about removing all but one, but when I began to poke around, I found I'd need to completely strip the drywall off and pull new wire to the fireplace. I wasn't willing to put in that work, so I decided to go another route, but first, I needed to get all these outlets at the same distance off the floor and leveled up.
