Framing reinstalled and secured. I was able to hit all the original screw holes so I didn't have to level anything again. It stayed square, plumb and level. You can see at the left side, I've removed the gas valve and connected the supply directly to the fireplace. There's a valve inside the fireplace that provides code compliance, so the other valve was unnecessary. One less potential point of failure.
