New House Fireplace Remodel
Remember the 3D printed stuff mentioned before? Well, I changed my design and didn't bother with 3D printed proof of concept stuff. I drew up sheet metal parts in CAD, sent the files to the shop where my son works and had parts cut on their plasma machine. As I mentioned before, I don't have a lot of metalworking tools, but with some ingenuity and more than a few dirty words, I'm making progress forming the metal into useful shapes.
