When I took this down for painting, I'd left the original screw in the wall, but when I went to put this back on, the screw fell out. It *was* into a stud, but it was only 3/4" long so between the 1/2" drywall and the 1/8" thick plastic, only 1/8" of the screw was into the stud. I grabbed a couple 1-1/2" screws and got it secured.
