While I was working in the bathroom, Josiah fabricated the new support for what was the rotten room. He got it primed and while paint was drying, I laid out the holes at the bottom and cored them out to about 1" deep. We set the ends of the poles into these holes and drove the support into position. It was a tick taller than needed, but we wanted to make sure it took the load of the roof off the temporary wall once it was in place. We can now remove the temporary wall.
