This one came about because I bought a guitar kit and I was looking for a way to easily cut out the headstock. I figured that since I'd just finished topping my workbench with a piece of tempered masonite and used a ball bear trimmer bit to clean up the edges, I could do the same with the headstock. This was one of those 'figure it out as you go' projects. I wanted it detachable and collapsable so I could remove and store it easily when not in use.

I laminated some scrap birch plywood together and then cut it to shape on the table saw and chop-box, then clamped the piece to the lip on my bench. These will set the table height.
