Since I'd aligned the trunion to the table slots, I aligned the fence to the slots as well. It took a bit of doing, but I got it to within 7/1000 of an inch across the length of the table. I just couldn't get it any closer. Some of that might be inaccuracies in the slot or the fence extrusion itself. Plenty good enough for this saw and way better than it ever was before, I'm sure.
