Welded and ground smooth. Not the cleanest welds, but I don't have a gas bottle for the welder so I'm using flux core wire. With the shop door open to vent the smoke, there's a bit of a breeze blowing so it's hard to get clean beads. Still, I got good penetration and the corners are now solid.
