Ok, I'm an idiot. While trying to remove this, I took a look underneath the saddle and realized I had it moved too far forward and the area where the saddle's leadscrew goes was hitting the underside of the saddle casting. I drove the saddle back an inch with a block of wood and a dead blow hammer and it slipped right out.
