I didn't want a repeat off the pendant mount break, so I figured out a combination of a short piece of stainless tube and a washer of the proper thickness to take the 'crush' load of the lifting lug while still allowing a snug fit for the pendant arm mount. Unfortunately, the washer I chose didn't have a large enough hole in it for the lifting lug's threaded shank. Nothing my lathe and a boring bar can't fix!
