I popped the two vices off and scraped a couple pounds of swarf out of the table slots to try and lessen the weight a bit. The vices weigh about 80lbs each and are as filthy as the mill. I also discovered the swarf tray is actually a tank for coolant and there's a pump just behind the knee casting.
